Did you ever bought a nice top or shirt and you couldn’t find a good bottom/skirt to match? Then you kept this item inside your wardrobe for days, months and sometimes years. And eventually you forgot that you have it already. I’m sure many of you had this situation before.

Well, I’ve been to this situation before until one day this idea sparked my mind. Why I can’t convert one of my favorite dresses and use it as a skirt. I was desperately searching for a short full skirt with a light material to wear in the summer but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. Then when I was searching inside my wardrobe I saw one of the oldest dresses that I still have (over 4 years old bigsmile) and I always wanted to make use of this LBD but I didn’t have any clue how to wear it rather than a dress. So I paired it to this check Shirt which I recently bought from Mango and added this belt over it.

Hope you liked how I styled this outfit and to make it even better, I’ll try to style this LBD in different looks in my future posts, just to prove to you that you should always think outside the box in every purchase you make and try to wear it in different ways.  It will give you many fashion solutions, also you will save a lot of money and your partner will be happy wink.

Have a good day and thanks for reading my post.

  4. I love how you make the gingham shirt work with the full skirt (of a dress). It’s always nice when an old dress can be worn as part of a different look, isn’t it? The clutch, shoes along with your red pout all fit into this super chic look 🙂

  6. You always dress so stylishly. I love this ladylike look. It has a retro vibe for sure with the gingham top and full skirt. I like how you re-worked your dress. It is so creative.
